Chris Dittman – Oregon

Native Oregonian, grew up on the wet-side of the state in Roseburg. Been an active hunter and fisherman since I was roughly 8 years old. Shot my first pheasant at 9 years old in South Dakota and my first duck at 10 in Klamath Falls. The outdoors has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Today most of my hunting is done along the banks of the High Desert lakes and rivers around Bend. Having limited access to water has been challenging but exciting as well. When you work hard to make a hunt happen and it all comes together just how you hoped, there is no better feeling!

I am extremely active in Ducks Unlimited. I act as the Central Oregon chapter Chairman. Giving back my time to DU is something that I have become passionate about. I also love taking my kids in the blind with me. Both Jacob 10 and Aliana 7 enjoy the cool early mornings and hot cocoa with their somewhat crazy dad. Jacob actually shot his first duck, a greenhead mallard this year on the ODFW youth mentor program. I am excited to see them grow into not only active hunters but active conservationists as well.

Remember to #golettheairoutofone !!!
